Here is an example of big brother loming downon us. Which is nothing I am afraid of, I mean who wouldnt want to be watched all the time.
Well basically this article says about how some people want to have tracking devices in school Uniforms of high Schoolers in England. Here is the opening Quote
“an English school uniform maker is “seriously considering” putting tracking devices into its clothes, after a survey found many British parents want to know where their “offspring” are at all times.
So why do teen girls need to be constantly tracked? According to the company, there are three reasons:
- To stop us from being abducted.
- To stop us from wagging school.
- To stop us from lying about what we’re doing on weekends eg. “I’m going to Sarah’s” – then sneaking off to make out with the BF.”
I am wondering now why so many teens on the site are objecting to this report. My god it is a wonder they ahvent gone. “Hey guys lets protest until they get us these uniforms!” I mean teenagers just love to know their parents know everything thts going on with them all the time.
I really honestly wouldn’t object to it if it was an authority figure who had the tags, maybe the school or the police. But Parents could be very irresponsible when given this. Maybe if they had a report at the end of the terms with their other reports of every time a student was out of school grounds in school hours that would help but seriously not even I want to knoiw where the teenagers these worried parents have are when their wagging. I think it would be best to remain unknown to the parents about their days spent in public toilets.
